The hotel has a 4,000-square-meter private garden (giving you a taste of the nearby Milan botanical gardens), and the original layout is said to be traced back to the year 1305.

Service & facilities

Of all the great amenities that contribute to this hotel’s grandeur, it is their jaw-dropping, personalized service that really sets the place apart. Upon check-in, honeymooning guests typically find a celebratory bottle of champagne and strawberries lying out on the desk. Anticipatory emails are sent to guests asking for an estimated arrival time in advance, and guests often return to their rooms after a long day only to find a warm bath or hot tea and chocolate waiting for them.

The hotel provides a complimentary unpacking service, a laundry service, a daily newspaper, and bed turn-down service (with slippers!). Along with the spa, are on-site tennis courts, a fitness center, and a gorgeous pool. The hotel even organizes private visits to villas, museums… or more exclusive destinations by limousine, plane, or yacht.
 

Rooms

After a long flight (or drive) to Milan, guests needing a good night’s rest and real comfort throughout their stay won’t be disappointed. Staying in any one of Bulgari’s 58 rooms or suites, you are sure to find a surprise or two. Each room provides all the basics you’d expect (air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV), plus some fun extra features (balconies in every room, minibar, bathtub, walk-in closet), depending on the room. These rooms will make your stay more than satisfactory. Oh, and did we mention the panoramic view of the town center on 5th-floor suites? Don’t even get us started…
 

Food & drink

Both the hotel restaurant and bar offer a wide variety of excellent dishes, traditional cocktails, and luxurious wines. However, if you opt to stay here, remember: you are in the heart of Milan, Italy! There is incredible food all around you. Personally, we prefer to go out and try some of the local food. If you choose to stay at the hotel to eat, though, the food is anything but a letdown. Oh, and they have a really cool chef.
 

Value for money

Depending on budget, this dream-stay hotel can come with a hefty price tag, but c’mon… you’re in Milan! As far as fees and sub-charges go, however, breakfast does not come with the room payment. There is a charge for transfer service, and if you don’t like getting around on your feet, transportation can get expensive. The in-house restaurant is a bit pricey (again – to be expected), but special offers and multi-day deals are available on the internet to help soften the blow.
