Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa Review

Staying at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort was relaxing and just what the doctor ordered. As we walked in, we were met with light from the huge windows looking out over the gardens, and beyond that the oceanfront. We immediately wanted to go check out the grounds and relax by the pool or on the beach. We were very impressed with the way the hotel handled stipulations regarding the pandemic. If you ever forgot your mask, they have new ones in bags ready at any time. The hotel staff made sure that we still felt like we were on vacation and it was very apparent that they keep things clean and orderly so we could sleep soundly knowing they have done all they can to keep guests healthy and safe.

Each room provided ample space, comfortable beds and enough pillows to sink into after a long day at the beach which is one of my favorite parts of a trip.

The grounds at the hotel were truly stunning. The rows of palm trees wrapped with twinkling lights, fire pits ready for cozy evening conversations, and lounge chairs to relax and take in the ocean breeze and salty air. The hotel enabled us to enjoy the beautiful Fort Lauderdale sunsets, and then the luxury pools enticed us to jump in for a late night swim.

One of the happy surprises we love when we travel is enjoying good food at the resort. Their breakfast was delicious. From their kid friendly menu to the tasty adult options. The lobster eggs Benedict was at the top of our list!

There are several restaurants within the resort. Each offering appetizing options for guests. Their steak and asparagus, burgers, and seafood specials left us more than satisfied. Poolside lunches and drinks made it hard to do anything but relax all day, soaking up the Florida sun and enjoying the happy sounds of chatter, laughter and splashing in the pool.

Kids and adults alike will enjoy their time each day swimming, lounging, building sand castles in the soft sand, and hunting for seashells along the shore. Grab a good book, order drinks by the beach or pool from the excellent and friendly staff and enjoy your time rejuvenating in the sun. One thing’s for sure: we look forward to booking again at this resort and picking up where we left off as soon as we can!
