Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara
Of all the places we have traveled to, our stay at The Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore in Santa Barbara was one of the very best (seriously – it may have been the best). From start to finish, our visit was perfect. The staff from front desk, concierge, valet, room service, housekeeping and more were courteous, professional, and so friendly. We brought our four children with us and we were stunned that such a tranquil, luxurious resort managed to somehow be incredibly kid friendly as well. Our kids received personalized gifts in our room, fixings for a fun movie night in completely with popcorn, as well as kits for a scavenger hunt around the resort. They had a blast!
We stayed in a private bungalow with its own secluded patio and hot tub. The rooms themselves were stunning. Rich furnishings and beautiful details like the patterned bathroom tiles and antique pieces throughout made for a charming ambience. The resort as a whole has a gorgeous, old world, Spanish elegance with creamy stucco exteriors, dark accents, and tile roofs. The grounds were flawlessly maintained and added an aura of tropical serenity. The massive, ancient fig tree was incredible in both size and majesty.
As far as activities go, the restaurants were all amazing. We breakfasted at the Bella Vista and the options for adults and kids were both delicious. The Florentine Eggs Benedict was definitely a favorite. We ate at Tydes for dinner and not only was the food perfect and beautifully presented, but the views and atmosphere were delightful. The bar was made of a breathtaking continuous glass aquarium with striking marine life.
The hotel pools were beautiful and across the street was the Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club right on the beachfront where hotel guests have full access to additional pools including lap pools, kiddy pools, and more hot tubs. The poolside service and food were also exceptional. There were also tennis and pickleball courts and a putting green where we had some great quality time as a family.
I was lucky enough to get a pedicure at the in-house spa with a lovely technician and a private room with a gorgeous view. The spa products were wonderful and I left feeling relaxed and pampered.
We couldn’t have enjoyed out time more at the Four Seasons Biltmore. We truly felt they went above and beyond to make our stay with them something we will never forget. We cannot wait to go back!
