Kimberly Hotel Review
If you are looking for an elegant hotel to stay in while visiting New York City, look no further than The Kimberly Hotel. Located about a five minute walk from Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, this hotel is full of elegance with European flair. The hotel kindly invites you in with welcoming staff, knowledgeable concierges, a fun tropical aquarium, spacious luxurious suites with balconies overlooking the city, and an exquisite penthouse restaurant/bar that has even more stunning views of the city. After a long day of touring the busy city, it was nice to find relief in a spacious suite with room to relax and overlook the city. Upon coming to the hotel every night, I was delighted to find my bed turned down, with chocolates on my pillows, and a card explaining how the weather was supposed to be for the following day. Also, the hotel has an affiliation with the New York Health and Racquet Club which is quite convenient when one has the desire for a workout. Before starting my journey out every morning, I found myself exploring the hotel lobby, looking at vintage photos of when the hotel first opened and admiring the classic luxurious decor and observing the variety of fish in the large playful aquarium. The hotel also features a honeymoon suite, which is perfect as The Kimberly radiates love and grace. The Kimberly houses three delicious restaurants: Upstairs at The Kimberly, Empire Steak House, and Bistango which are just as elegant as the rest of the hotel. Need to book a reservation in the city? Or get some tickets for the hottest broadway play? Or even want to figure out the best subway route to go? Ask the concierge. With New York City being a lot to take in, take a load off your plate and ask the concierge – believe me, they know everything! The Kimberly was everything I hoped for and more in a New York City hotel; I would immensely suggest The Kimberly for your next New York stay.
